It was a fun Christmas this year! Grant is starting to figure out this opening presents thing and we got to see Santa twice this year! The first time at Valley West Mall wasn’t too fun for Grant but he LOVED the Santa we saw at Hy-Vee. Grant couldn’t stop talking to him.
We had our last Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa’s house (the house Greg grew up in). They will hopefully be moved by next Christmas. Bittersweet Christmas!
Opening present with Nana!
Grant finally went through the tunnel Uncle Peter got him for his birthday and now he loves it!
Grant has continued to get sick through this horrible winter. We have had 4 rounds of stomach flu (Mom and Dad got them too!) and about 4 colds which turned into ear infections. If they continue a visit to the ENT will be necessary. This long winter has made for a fussy little boy along with grouchy, sleep deprived, sick parents. We are all hoping for warm weather soon!
Grant starting standing on his own right around Christmas time and over the next month quickly started walking. It has been so fun to watch him learn to walk (and so quickly!). He is so proud of himself and we are too!
Standing up for the first time on Christmas Eve!
Walking!
Grant has started to love dancing!
And he has become quite the wild man, always on the move. Makes for a long winter being stuck in the house with this busy boy!
Grant has started talking quite a bit more these past few months. He has also learned new fun tricks.
He has become quite the little toddler over the past three months. He learns something new every day, which makes it so much fun! He is very curious and has started getting into EVERYTHING. Makes things quite a bit more challenging for mom and dad. Yet, he still brings us so much joy every day. We are excited for the months ahead, for warm weather to get here so we can go outside and stop being SICK!!
