This is what Greg was wanting to happen. Everyone can watch what they want on their ipad and so no fighting. The problem with that is that Grant goes into his room to watch football while Greg is watching it downstairs. We are happy they like their ipad though.

Grant had a play date at his friend, Amir's house. They had a blast playing football outside and some video games. It was good for Grant to get out and play with a friend and he had a blast!

Greg won some free tickets to an Iowa Wolves basketball game. We weren't sure how Blake and Claire were going to do but everyone did great! Claire loved the music and just danced in her seat while eating popcorn. Blake enjoyed watching the game more than I expected. Both Claire and Blake were always watching the wolf mascot to see where he was. We had great seats and were pleasantly surprised with how smooth it went.
Claire (and even the boys) new favorite show is Gabby's Dollhouse. I caught her dancing to it (with a mouthful of blueberries)!
We went to Woodland Hills night at the Waukee basketball game. Grant was able to go out at half time and shoot a basket. He didn't make it unfortunately but the kids had fun! The younger were ready to go after half time but were well behaved otherwise!
The was a Michigan vs Washington championship game on and our kids were cheering for Michigan. We had to send it to Jeff and give him a laugh!
I caught the kids all sharing a blanket together and being silly! Claire just loves her brothers. She does not want to be left out. If we mention leaving she will run to the door and put on her shoes and say "I wanna go! I wanna go!".
Claire has been doing a great job peeing in the potty but she won't go poop. She has gone a few times but not consistently. She seems scared to go now. We have been sending her to daycare in a pullup since she usually poops first thing in the morning and they switch her to underwear after she poops. Well, she has been getting lazy and peeing in her pullup so we want to get her to poop. I tried to bribe her with toys and prizes and it worked a few times but she ended up holding her poop for over 2 days when I was home with her. Then the day she went back to daycare she pooped right away. Daycare has been great and tries to put her on the potty before she usually poops but she just seems scared. We will try again in a few months and hopefully she is not as scared then. One of her prizes was stamps of cool animals and all the kids loved those! She also got some cool heart glasses! She loved the pink ones the best, of course!
Claire wanted to play sleeping with Dad and me. She thought it was so funny to wake up!
Blake started basketball with his friend, Jack, from school. We had the first game and the girls had a blast! They were the entertainment of the game! Jack and Blake both had great first games and scored multiple baskets.
Blake had a play date with Carson and Claire had to join in and get dressed up as power rangers! The boys had fun but also had a lot of energy!

Grandma came with us to Grant's basketball game and so I sat in the back with Grant. Blake wanted me to hold his hand but I couldn't reach so Grant was so sweet to hold Blake's hand! I had to get this on camera because these sweet moments are rare.

Grant went over to Amir's house again and they went sledding by the school. Grant had a blast at his house!

Blakey has upgraded to a booster seat!!! He has been wanting to do that for a lot time and is having a lot of problems unbuckling himself so we decided it was time to switch. It was so cute to watch Blake that first morning. He was just smiling ear to ear because he was so happy! He ended up moving to the back because he can buckle easier in that seat and Grant is in the bucket seat. Everyone is happy!
Blake is getting to the point where he needs a nap but doesn't want a nap. He refused to nap one day and then fell asleep in the car. It was so cute with his football helmet on.
