11th Month of Claire

June 1-30

Greg, Claire and I had a lunch date on one of my days off at the new Mexican restaurant by Target.  It was a beautiful day and so nice to be outside.

Claire is moving along furniture and behind her walker so well!  Walking won't be long!

I think someone (*cough* Greg *cough*) has gotten frustrated a few too many times and it is amazing what our kids pick up on.  Of course, we both get frustrated but the inappropriate words are more likely to come out of Greg's mouth. ;-)

Boys love driving in our yard on their power wheels dump truck.

Grant had surgery on his ear a few months back to remove his left ear tube that never fell out.  Dr Liudahl said she was concerned about it closing on its own because of how big the hole was.  We went back one time and it was not fully healed. Here is the video of him telling me it has healed.  I forgot to put ear drops in his ear a week before this appointment to loosen the gel foam in there so we have to do the drops for a week and get it checked back out but Dr Liudahl is pretty confident its closed.  Now time for swimming!!

Blake and Chloe are in Happyfeet soccer league this summer together and it has been so fun to watch.  It is nice they have each other out there so both ran right out and were ready to play!

Grant finished up T-ball and football this month.  He had fun at T-ball with all his friends but enjoyed football more.  The boys had an end of year party at Brook's house and the boys had a blast playing.

Grant lost his first tooth!!!  It had been wiggly for a few weeks but we thought it would be a few more weeks until it fell out.  Dad took him to get a donut one day during nap time and it came out when he took a bite of his donut. We never found it!  So, of course, we had to write a note to the tooth fairy so they knew he lost his tooth.  She gave him $5 for his first tooth.

These days its hard to get all of my friends and the kids together with scheduling but we were able to make it work and the kids had fun!  We went to the fox creek splash pad and park.

Claire loves Cocomelon.  Here is a cute video of her dancing to it.

Grant has been done with naps for awhile and quiet time is officially done so we try to find stuff for Grant to do during the others kids nap time.  One day Greg took him mini golfing and he loved it!

We had a fun and busy Fathers Day weekend.  The kids got Greg a mug with their pictures on it, some new shirts and a picture frame of Grandpa's best man speech at our wedding.  The boys were able to go fishing Sunday morning to honor Grandpa.  It wasn't very relaxing but they were able to catch 10 fish and had fun!  Seisers and Seversons came over Sunday afternoon to catch up and Greg was able to go out to eat with them while I took the kids to my parents so I could be with my dad.

My mom texted me one day saying she woke up from her second nap with a crusted eye.  When I got her after work she had a 101.9 fever.  I ended up taking her into the doctor because we were worried about an ear infection.  She was better a day or two later after the eye drops and antibiotic kicked in.

Claire is going all over the place these days and getting into everything.  I caught her by the toilet the other day.  She also puts everything in her mouth!  Greg and I can't take our eye off her for a second.

Claire and I were playing with the light switches and she loved it.  So many giggles!

We had a quick dinner away with some of my high school friends that were in town.  It was nice to get away for a short while.

Blake is getting so much more confident in soccer.  It is so fun to watch!

Our favorite movie of the moment is Sing 2.  The boys love dancing to Johnny's song.  Enjoy some videos of them dancing and playing the piano.

We rallied the troops to watch our kids so Greg and I could go to Leslie's gender reveal on Sunday.  They are having a BOY!  The due date is only a few days away from when Grant was due.

Claire loves Encanto and her chair.  So cute to watch her crawl right up to it and sit in it and watch TV.  She also went on her first wagon ride and loved it!

Claire is so busy but happy!  She weighs almost 22 pounds. We had another rough month with sleep because of her ear infection and eye issue but hoping with that gone sleeping improves.  Greg and I are tired!  We can't believe she is almost 1 years old.  Years keep getting faster and faster but this one has to be the fastest yet!

Grant is on Hive Pack Hoops and it has been a frustrating season for the team. It was fun to watch Grant score a free throw though. He was so proud of himself!

I tried to make cinnamon sugar sourdough bread and it still didn't turn out like I thought. The kids still wouldn't eat it which was my goal. AND it was a lot of work. So fail on that part but hoping to try bagels next and I have heard they are easier and better.

Carson invited Blake to go to the pool with him and Blake had a blast (even if the picture doesn't show it!)
