11th Month

Grant has developed SO MUCH this month.  I would even go as far as to say he  changed the most in a month.  It has been so fun to watch.  He gets so proud of himself every time he learns something new.  And, of course, we are so very proud of our little boy.  He started this month just army crawling around and by the end of the month he is all over the place.  He is a busy boy.

Here he is later in the month pulling himself up and standing all by himself.

I think I say this every month , but this has been the most fun month yet.  He is such a happy baby and loves his Mom and Dad.  He is definitely a Mama’s boy.  I absolutely love it and wish he could love us this much forever. We are good at making him laugh by doing absolutely nothing.  And his giggles just absolutely warm our hearts.

Grant loves bath time and we caught a few moments of bath time giggles. Again, we do such silly things and he loves them.  So much fun!

We definitely know when he is pooping.  Watch video below.

We got some rare snuggles this month.  Cindy-school (Daycare)  wore him out one day and he feel asleep during his evening bottle.  Snuggles are VERY few and far between with Grant, so we take full advantage of these rare moments.  They are our absolute favorite.

He has been pulling himself up in the crib and we have officially lowered the crib to the lowest level.  When he wakes up, he pulls himself up, talks and waits for us to come in and get him.  He is the only person who we are happy (ehh…most of the time) to get up at 5 in the morning for.  Just to see his happy, smiling face.

He is now using his walker all by himself.  He is on the move and fast!  He is also cruising around furniture all the time.  He will bend down and pick up toys as he is standing.  His confidence is growing.  In a few more months I think he will be on his own.

We celebrated Greg’s birthday this month as well.  He turned the big 3-7.  SO O-L-D.Friday night Kellie and the kids came over to celebrate with pizza and cake.  On Saturday (his actual birthday), Greg’s parents came down during the day so Greg and I were able to enjoy a few hours alone.  Then we all went out to Sam and Gabe’s.  It was a fun day!

The most exciting progress has been Grant learning to clap.  We have been trying to get him to clap for so many months and he FINALLY did it!  Aren’t baby claps just the cutest thing ever?!  He has also figured out blowing kisses.  It is just so much fun to watch him learn.

He ended this month weighing in at 23lbs 7ounces.  I cannot believe it is only one more month and we will be celebrating his birthday.

Grant is on Hive Pack Hoops and it has been a frustrating season for the team. It was fun to watch Grant score a free throw though. He was so proud of himself!

I caught Claire playing in with the hot wheels cars while playing in her brother's Captain America mask. So cute!

I tried to make cinnamon sugar sourdough bread and it still didn't turn out like I thought. The kids still wouldn't eat it which was my goal. AND it was a lot of work. So fail on that part but hoping to try bagels next and I have heard they are easier and better.

Carson invited Blake to go to the pool with him and Blake had a blast (even if the picture doesn't show it!)
