We are finally in the double digits! He has made big strides this month. I feel like he does something new every day. It is so fun to watch him learn.
He is moving all over the place now. Grant learned to crawl up the step from our family room to the kitchen. Greg and I thought we had a little more time, but we were wrong. We are in trouble! He is pulling himself up and “cruising” along our coffee table, still with some hesitation. He LOVES to walk around with help. If we would do it, he would do it constantly. Once he gets his balance down, he will be walking all over the place.
He learned to wave! It is so cute to watch. He started out being shy and would only do it to Mom and Dad, but towards the end of the month he started waving to others.
And my absolute favorite new trick-he now says “mama.” I know someday I will wish he would stop saying it, but right now it is just music to my ears. He is also a huge mama’s boy. He can’t get close enough. Some would think this would get irritating but I absolutely love it!
Greg and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary this month. It is so crazy that it has already been 2 years! Time has flown by. Greg’s parents came down and watched Grant while Greg and I enjoyed the Winterset Cidery and dinner at Sam and Gabes.
This is the only picture we took of our 2nd Anniversary celebration. Fail on our part.
He is riding in the fun cart at Hy-Vee. He loves it since he can see what is going on and “drive” the cart.
I taught Grant to scream in the tunnel during our walk.
Greg and I had another “day date” at the Solheim Cup. It was on Tuesday so we were only able to see some girls practicing, but still, a fun even to see!
Grant weighed in this month at 22lbs 10oz. He is still growing! Another super fun month for us! We just love our little family of three.
