7th Month of Claire

February 1-28

We got Claire's 6th month pictures back and got a few cute ones!  She wasn't loving being photographed so I am honestly surprised we even got some good ones.

We had a rare warm day in early February so I bundled Claire up and we went for a walk.  She loved being in her stroller!

Claire has been working on using her sippy cup and she does a pretty good job so far.  The video of Claire drinking from a sippy cup is a great depiction of our house on a daily basis.  You can hear Greg talking to Blake and telling him he is so brave for taking his medicine.  We are weaning off Keppra and it is disgusting.  We can't wait to be done with that medicine.  Grant is just talking non-stop to no one and I am talking to Claire.  Pure chaos all the time.

Claire loves it when her brothers pay attention to her.  They are her favorite people.  Blake is such a great big brother. Blake started Valproic Acid this month and we are slowly weaning off Keppra.  He is off his keto diet also.  He seems to be doing so much better on this new medicine and we haven't seen the constant seizures since we started this medicine.  I did see a potential seizure once when he was falling asleep but I am not sure. Blake also went to the pulmonologist and was cleared (again) from him.  Here is to hoping we don't have to go back to him!  But we are so happy with how he has been doing this month.

Claire's hair is long enough for some small pigtails and she just looks so cute in them! They can be hard to do since she doesn't sit still and she hates when they are taken out.

Claire loves her bath and playing in the water! She is sitting up pretty good so she will be able to be in the real bath soon.

We love Sing 2 and the song "Sky Full of Stars" so here is Grant singing a song to Nana for her birthday. Our house is just a disaster of toys.  Just pure chaos at all times. 

Kelly came into town and we were able to meet up for coffee one morning.  It was so good to see them and catch up!

We have been working on food this month.  Claire has had a rough start of baby and solid food.  If we feed her baby food she wakes up in the night crying and arching her back like she has a stomach ache.  She is doing a lot better than she was but we are having to go at a slower pace than normal introducing foods.

Claire is so interactive and responsive to us talking to her. She is able to play with toys sitting up. She is just getting so big!

Claire has started giving open mouth kisses and this has to be one of my favorite things ever.  I will take the slobbery kisses all day long!

Grant is such a good big brother!  Claire just loves him and any attention he will give her.

I was able to meet up with my friends to celebrate Jess and my birthday's.  We tried a new brewery so were able to try some new beer and have some apps and enjoy time catching up.

Claire loves Cocomelon and watches it a little too much.  She looks to the TV when she wants to watch it.  Bad parenting at its finest.

Claire got her first tooth this month.  She is sleeping through the night much better now that she is tolerating foods better.  She is so smiley and happy and loves her brothers.  We got the bump above her right eyebrow ultrasounded and it is a cyst.  We will have to remove at some point and have an appointment with plastic surgery in about 6 months.  She is 18lbs and 8oz of cuteness!
