8th Month of Claire
March 1-31
Claire had some cute pigtails and is just so cute!

We had a rare warm day and we went to the park to get out of the house! Claire was old enough to swing and go down slides for the first time! She loved the swing and Grant was such a big helper. He helped push her and went down the slide with her.

I have tried a few times so give Claire formula and she won't take it. It would be nice to have another option if I don't have enough milk but we will just stick with breast milk since its working and she won't take formula
My parent's friends got Claire a cute St. Patrick's Day outfit so we tried it on early to make sure it fit for the big day!

The boys love riding around on their dump truck in our lawn. It is nice enough to be outside so we are out there as much as we can be after winter!

We pulled out Greg's old Wii for something to do for the boys and they loved playing boxing! So cute to watch them play!
We got some snow in early March so the boys when outside and had a snowball fight.
Grant had to have surgery because one of his ear tubes has not fallen out and it had been in over 3 years. It was a quick surgery and Grant did great! Dr Liudahl said it was a bigger opening than usual so we hopeful the gel foam will heal it, if not, then he will have to have another surgery to close the opening.
Claire loves her pouches and loves doing it herself! She gets so excited but it causes more of a mess for Mom and Dad!
We went to Jurassic Quest with Grandma and had fun! Blake loves dinosaurs right now so it was perfect timing. We ran into Tyler and his family when we got there so it was fun for the boys to have someone to play with. We went to the back of the event first and were able to do all the games and rides before everyone else realized they were back there. It was packed and hard to keep track of all the kids if they were running around but we still had fun!
Greg fell asleep one morning and Grant thought it was so funny to tickle Dad's feet. He was laughing so hard he couldn't even do it most of the time.
Claire is on the move but backwards! She hasn't quite figured out how to move forward but we are sure it won't be long.
We have been trying to get the boys to ride their bikes. We are starting Blake with the balance bike to see if it is an easier transition to the real bike down the road and avoid training wheels.

Claire has been fun and smiley this month and I love it!
I love when my cute boys want to snuggle and take pictures with me. :)
Claire has another allergic reaction and we still have no idea what is causing it. We had another visit at her allergist and they did not find anything she was allergic to. At this point, we think she is just rubbing her eyes with her food filled hands causing the reaction. It is frustrating but I am glad it is not a true food allergy.
We tired potty training Blake this month and had some successes but it did not last. It is so frustrating and we feel like he will never be out of diapers. I try to give all of us grace since he has been through so much these past 6 months but it is still hard. Blake has been doing so well with his seizures this month so we wanted to try while the medicine was working (and hopefully it continues!).
Claire has started to motor boat and it is just the cutest thing! I love the faces she makes when trying to motor boat.
Grant has been practicing some songs for his graduation from school and he is very excited to show us! We can't wait to see the concert!
Auntie Kellie stopped by our house a few days after her birthday so we could celebrate!
Claire had her second ear infection this month and so she did not sleep well. I am sure we are on our way to ear tubes at some point. She got a new tooth which also did not help sleeping. She weighs 19lbs 10oz. and is so smiley!
