February 2023
Claire has been sitting on the potty and we would love for her to potty train early so we can be done with diapers! She is not quite ready and we have learned from our boys, starting too soon will only cause more stress and accidents for Greg and I. So we will be waiting until she is very ready and showing all the signs!

Claire fell asleep eating lunch one day when I was home with her. She was still holding her milk and everything. I must have worn her out!

We had a beautiful snow day this month! It was warm-ish and sunny outside but still had good snow on the ground for a fun snowball fight! Claire and Blake had a blast playing.
Uncle Mit gave Claire a balance bike for Christmas and she is just finally brave enough to try and she loves it!
Claire loves to read books and play with her animals in the table and chairs I was given as a young girl. It is so fun to watch her love those like I did.
Grant is a good big brother and loves to help! He held Claire's hand as they walked into Nana and Papa's house for Nana's birthday celebration.
We made a shark box for Blake for his Valentine's Day party and he loved it! It was more work than we initially thought but it turned out cute.

I tried to do my first braid on Claire's hair and it turned out okay but I am going to need to practice to get better at this "girl mom" thing.

Grant finished his basketball and he loved it. He did a really great job and scored 4 baskets on his last game. He was on the same team as Tyler and his friend from school, Josie.

We have been stuck in the house too long by this point and Claire has been dying to go outside and play with the water table. So I got out our kid sink. She loved it, but of course, Blake also wanted to play. It ended in a hug mess and lots of tears. We are hoping it warms up soon so we are able to play outside!
We had a snow storm this week but it warmed up a few days later so we were able to enjoy the snow. It was perfect snowman snow and the boys made a huge one named "Snowie"
We celebrated a HUGE milestone this month! Blake is officially one year seizure FREE!!!! It happens to fall on my birthday because the last possible seizure was February 19th and so I loved sharing my day with him! We are just going to keep praying the seizures stay away for another year so we can try and get off medicine. He is still gluten free and we continue to give him his medicine and supplements. He does amazing with this and we are just SO proud of him!! This has been such a long road to get this far, and I never knew if this day would come, so it is a celebration for Greg and I also! We are so blessed we had the resources to get Blake to this point!
For my birthday the boys made me cards and we went bowling after dinner. I wouldn't say it was a stress free birthday as we had some meltdowns bowling all while chasing Claire around, but it was a good birthday!
I tried to get my kids to watch Thomas shows like they used to because I miss that stage but they were not into it! They watched a few minutes of it and I caught Claire and Blake dancing. All of our kids love to dance and Greg and I love watching them dance!
When picking up the kids at daycare, Grant asked if we could get Claire first. We usually get Blake first because it is easier for me but I caught them holding hands so cutely on the way to get Blake.

Claire and I fell asleep watching TV and I loved it! She doesn't love cuddling on me very often so I soaked this time up.

I went to get Claire from her crib one morning and she had figured out how to undress herself and was naked! This better not become a thing where we come in and she has figured out how to take off her diaper!

Claire found her baby stroller and has been pushing her baby dolls around in them. She is so nurturing and it is so cute to watch!
This month we got a jar and the boys have to fill the jar by doing things they are supposed to. For example, putting on coat and shoes without being asked multiple times, putting clothes in hamper, etc. If they filled the jar they got beyblade arena and beyblades. They convinced Grandma to play with them also. The toys are very frustrating to play with and don't work like they are supposed to but Grandma was able to figure it out!
