The faces of Claire! I tried to take a picture of her in her cute Iowa State cheerleading outfit and these are what I get!
Blake is seizure free off medications!!! We decided to have a party for him to celebrate! He has been through so much and was so brave. He deserves to be celebrated!
I caught the boys cuddled up together sharing a blanket and NOT fighting! They were actually touching and not fighting. This is picture worthy since it is SO rare these days.
Here Claire is trying to get the balloon down by herself from the ceiling. Lately she has become very independent and will just go open my kitchen drawers and take random utensils. She will then grab a cup and fill it with water and make a mess. It keeps her occupied so I let her do it at times but if she is playing nicely alone you can guarantee she is making a destructive mess. In the video you can tell I am irritated because it keeps happening. When I need to get stuff done I just let her go knowing I will have a mess to clean up later! The price I pay!
Makenna had a tournament downtown so we went to watch. We brought Grant for the 2nd game and he loved watching it. Makenna had some great games and it was good to see her and Tracee.
We watched Chloe's soccer game before Blake's. The kids picked up some pinecones while watching the game. Chloe did a great job! She is very aggressive!
Soccer is over for the season. Both boys had a blast with their team. This was the last time Grant will be with this team and coach Natasha so we are sad about that. We will see what Grant decides for next season but Blake will be back next season and he is excited about that!
We have been following Caitlin Clark and her Iowa Hawkeye team. Claire got all dressed up in her cheerleading outfit with Hawkeye pigtails, pom poms and all.
We went to visit Aunt Randi and Blake cuddles right up to her. It was so sweet to watch.
Blake went to Jack's birthday party! It was a face painting party and the boys both chose snakes. He has a blast running around with Jack.
Blake graduated from preschool! He was so cute singing his songs. Blake was so excited for his graduation. He would sing the song for us after school. Only a few more days and he is home for the summer!
It is Blake's last day of daycare! He was so excited to be home with me, and soon, Grant for the summer! He is so excited to graduate his preschool and start school with Grant! We are so proud of Blake the past few years and are excited to see him excel in Kindergarten!
Blake was getting pictures for his last day of school and Claire had to get some of her. She is a sassy one with lots of personality!
The kids are very into the song "Fancy Like" by Walker Hayes. We have listened to it so much in the car that Claire has the song memorized (along with the rest of our family). I tried to get her to sing it for me but she gets distracted easily and shy when I try to video her.
Claire got a big girl bed! She is a struggle to get to get so we thought possibly a big girl bed would make her excited to sleep. Then maybe she would stay in her bed in the morning! She loved her unicorn and rainbow sheets and comforter.
Grant had his last day! This year Greg got to go to his field day. It was a beautiful day to watch Grant. Grant was excited for summer to start but sad to leave all of his friends. We have a lot planned this summer and it is going to be a fun summer!
We got a free tennis lesson for joining Lifetime. The boys were excited to try. Blake had some lessons last month and Grant has shown interest in it. Grant is definitely more interested now though.
