I was able to celebrate my first official Mother’s day with my family. Grant ,really Greg, did a great job this year. The boys gave me flowers. I had a morning to myself to sit outside and read a book. We went to dinner at our favorite restaurant (Sakari). And Grant had his first time in the baby pool, which he wasn’t too fond of. Next time we will try and get the water a little warmer.
Greg and I celebrated the Alcazar wedding this month. I was in the wedding, so we had both Grandparents help us by watching Grant. Grant had so much fun with them and Greg and I enjoyed a night away. We stayed at a hotel the night after the wedding. It was a fun weekend but we were ready to see our son Sunday!
The beautiful bride and I!
Grant enjoying some attention from Tim and Steph!
Grant is finding his voice and so we have a lot of screaming going on in our house. Greg and I think it is just the cutest thing ever….while the rest of the world probably thinks our baby is more annoying than cute
Giggles with Mom! Makes my heart melt
We thought rolling over last month would be the last month of a stationary baby. We were wrong. Grant will scoot backwards and pivot in a circle but no crawling yet.
Grant started “motor boating” this month. Cutest. thing. EVER. When Grant was just starting to smile, this was a for sure way to see a gummy grin. So, of course, we did it all the time. Grant caught on and started copying us. These videos are priceless.
We were invited up to Lake Panorama and Grant had his first time on the lake. He was not too fond of the life jacket or the water but he took a nice little nap on Aunt Randi.
Napping on the pontoon!
Grant is so awake and alert and responsive. He is just so much fun to be around, when he gets his naps. He ended up this month weighing in at 20 pounds. This has been the most fun month yet and I can only hope it keeps gets better and better.
