9th Month

We had quite a fun 9th month!  He giggles all the time and is just so happy!  It makes Mom and Dad happy too.  His giggles always brighten our day.

Giggles during bath time!

Giggles with Dad!

More giggles with Dad!  He is the best at making Grant smile and giggle.

Giggles with Grandma Chalik!

We officially have a moving baby!  He started army crawling this month.  The baby proofing has begun!

He has four teeth total and is working on two more.  He looks so cute and grown up with his teeth.  He has handled teething well with just a little fussing, drooling and chewing.  We are so blessed, our laid back little boy handles most things well.

This is one of his 9 month pictures.  Look at all those cute teeth!

He got his first fever this month.  I am thinking it was a virus of some sort.  Other than the fever and fussiness, he acted normal and had no other symptoms.  He got to spend a few days with Grandma and Grandpa Chalik.  Greg and I are so thankful they are here to help and I think Grant enjoyed the playdates as much as his grandparents!

Grant is eating like an adult these days!  We are down to four bottles and three meals a day.  He is getting so much better at eating finger foods.  He likes everything we put on his tray!  He is also getting so much better with the sippy cup.

Grant’s first time eating at daycare!

Grant and Mom enjoying breakfast on the deck!

Grant got to meet his Great Grandma Fowles this month. She was so excited to meet him and was able to have some quality time feeding Grant.

Grant learned how to give high fives this month.  He doesn’t understand what he is doing and they are the softest high fives ever, but oh so cute!

We took a trip up to Williams, Iowa for the afternoon to have a Young family lunch.  It was nice to see the extended Young family.

Grant loves to go to the park and swing! The park is super close to us, so we take many walks to the park.

Greg and I made a trip to his favorite-Iowa State Fair!  We had a nice, much needed “day date.”

Grant finished the month at 22lbs 5 ounces.  He is still in 12 month clothes but I think he looks like a very big 9 month old.  Once again, he is growing up TOO FAST!

Here are some of my favorite 9 month pictures.  How is he already 9 months?!

Grant is on Hive Pack Hoops and it has been a frustrating season for the team. It was fun to watch Grant score a free throw though. He was so proud of himself!

I caught Claire playing in with the hot wheels cars while playing in her brother's Captain America mask. So cute!

I tried to make cinnamon sugar sourdough bread and it still didn't turn out like I thought. The kids still wouldn't eat it which was my goal. AND it was a lot of work. So fail on that part but hoping to try bagels next and I have heard they are easier and better.

Carson invited Blake to go to the pool with him and Blake had a blast (even if the picture doesn't show it!)

I caught a sweet video of Claire with Chase and Marshall kissing. She is so sweet.
