9th Month of Claire
April 1-30
This has been such a fun month with Claire! She is usually so happy and smiling (if we are right next to her playing). She loves her Mama and gets so excited when Mom or Dad walk into the room. She has started clapping, waving and giving kisses.

Grant is super into sports these days. Right now his favorite are football and basketball. He was so excited to wear his new shirt and wanted to take a picture to send to Grandma.

Our family also LOVES the movie "Sing 2" especially the son "Sky full of stars." Grant loves to dance to this song. And you can hear Blake's cute voice in the background of this video.
Claire started sharing her toys with us and it is the cutest thing ever!
We are getting so many baby giggles these days and we still can't get enough. She does this cute thing where she drops her head to get Greg to tickle her and it is adorable.
Uncle Peter came over for dinner and to visit us. Grant got new weights the day before so he was really excited to exercise with Uncle Peter!
Claire wants to be a big girl SO bad. She is trying to pull herself up and loves being able to stand tall. She is also trying to crawl but hasn't quite figured out how to move forward yet. She will be crawling in no time though!

Blake has been doing well this month. We are still tapering off Keppra and it seems to be going well. We can't wait to be done. He just has the sweetest personally and his silly, ornery side is coming out. One night this month I was sleeping in the basement and at 1 am all the lights turned on and I saw Blake standing downstairs. He said he was cold so I brought him back to his room, went back downstairs and checked his monitor. He had left his room again and was on the main floor. He would not go back to sleep until about 4 that morning. We have no idea why he woke up or couldn't go back to bed but we hope this doesn't become a regular thing!

Claire is always looking for her brothers and just wants their attention. Here is a video when they are playing with her and she just can't get enough.
Grant has been having a hard month behavior-wise. We think it is due to Claire and Blake getting so much more time at home. We had one Dad day and one Mom day and Grant loved it! Dad took Grant to chick-fil-a and Get Air Trampoline park and I took him to chick-fil-a at the mall and to the movie Sonic 2.
Claire is loving food these days. She gets so excited when she sees foods or is eating.
We had a super fun Easter this year! We went to Lutheran Church of Hope Saturday. Blake and Claire slept through the whole service and Grant did amazing so Greg and I were able to actually listen. Grandma and Auntie Kellie and cousins came over Saturday afternoon for an Easter dinner and Easter egg hunt. The kids had a blast searching for eggs and we were lucky the weather was decent for the hunt. Sunday the Easter Bunny came to our house and the boys were very excited for their 4 pack of goo-jit-zus and Mariokart hot wheel cars. Grant said "Mom, the Easter Bunny knew exactly what I wanted." Claire just loved all the activity. Sunday afternoon we spend at the Chalik's for Easter dinner. Aunt Randi, Uncle John and Tommy were able to join us and it was fun!
Claire learned how to clap this month! It is so fun to see her learn new skills! She does it all the time now that she knows how.
We caught this cute video of her "dancing."
Claire is finally able to "play" with some of her baby toys and is so proud of herself when she gets the blocks in!
Claire is able to walk a few steps with her walker or help from one of us. She wants to be able to keep up with her brothers. She is growing up too fast and we are definitely not ready for her to walk!

We put Blake in soccer this Spring and he has been very hesitant about it. He did it with Lucy, the daughter of my friend, Steph. I have to be out there with him most of the time but he would go out to play the game by the end of the season. A few times he would be running and then just stop at the end of the field and not run. I am not sure if it is related to his head or not but it makes me nervous. We will most likely wait a little longer to get him into more sports. It would have also helped if he had a close friend with him.
Claire learned how to crawl on the last day of the month! She wanted to make sure she crawled on her 9 month birthday! Now it is time to baby proof the house since she is on the move!
Grant is doing T-ball with a bunch of his friends from daycare and Greg is helping coach. It will be fun for Grant to be with all his friends but it is quite the time commitment and long season.

The boys are still loving Sing 2 "Sky full of stars" and we have been having dance parties regularly. So fun to watch!
Grant loves dancing and since we have the Just Dance Nintendo game we will dance and tell each other how many stars they got. Grant is a good dancer!
This was a fun month with Claire. She learned so much this month! She learned to clap, crawl, say Mama and pull herself up. She is 20 lbs and 10oz. She has 2 teeth. She is sleeping better but getting up early so we are getting a little more sleep but obviously not enough. I was so tired the day of her pictures I fell asleep and missed them! Ugh-I felt so bad! We had to reschedule for the next week. She is so fun and I love this age!
